Nobody is listed yet, and that is on purpose

Other directories scrape a public register and publish people who never asked. We do not. Every listing here is written by the person who bakes, so this fills up as makers arrive. List what you make.

How buying from a neighbour works

1

Search the thing

Not a category, the actual thing. Sourdough, cinnamon rolls, sour cherry jam. Every maker lists items separately.

2

Find them by town

These people can't appear on Google Maps, because a home kitchen isn't a shopfront. This is where they are.

3

Reserve or turn up

Some makers will hold items for you. Others run an honour box. Each listing says which, once they've written it.

4

Pay the maker directly

Venmo, cash, or a reservation. YardFare never touches the money and takes nothing from the sale.

Get found by people already searching for what you bake

A home kitchen can't hold a Google Maps listing, so the map results at the top of every local search are closed to you. A YardFare page is how someone searching for sourdough in your town actually finds you. There is a free listing, and it stays free.
